It is important in any relationship to be able to communicate to one another, couple therapy involves working together to identify issues and to resolve conflicts. Feelings of disconnection and not being able to express how you are feeling to one another, can in turn cause frustration and negative thought patterns.

Systems within relationships break down and get stuck. Those pieces that once fit well together can separate and fall apart. It is important to recognise these and to explore the elements of the family system.
